| Participants in CLIMB are eligible to earn the Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business from Harvard Business School Online, as well a Certificate of Completion for longform coursework in a given term. To successfully complete Term 1, you must meet the following requirements: Complete modules, assignments, and all related course components by their associated deadlines. While you have a great deal of flexibility to work on modules and assignments on your own time, we are very firm that all course components must be completed by their respective deadlines as indicated on the course calendar for the term. Failure to meet required deadlines will result in ineligibility for the term. Write thoughtful responses to questions posed throughout the program. Skipping questions by providing cursory responses, simply putting in filler text, or plagiarizing the work of others is regarded as incomplete participation in the course and will render you ineligible for a Certificate of Completion. You must complete all coursework to the best of your ability and in your own words, in keeping with the HBS Online Honor Code. Engage with your team. In each term of CLIMB, you are grouped with 5–7 of your peers as part of a team. Throughout the term, you and your team will work together and then evaluate each other’s performance through select assignments throughout the program. You must uphold the HBS Online Community Values throughout all your interactions in CLIMB—whether on or off the platform—and can learn more about this element of course work in our CLIMB Team Overview Guide. Comment on other participants' postings. Throughout the course you will be able to see reflections and insights from other participants. We encourage you to read these postings and "star" or comment on them. The Activity Feed— accessible via the homepage—includes "stars" and comments you receive on your postings. Post to Peer Help. The Peer Help functionality gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share your observations, and respond to others’ ideas while you are working through the course. While we do not have a specific number of comments that we expect from each participant, we value the quality of each contribution. Participants who successfully complete all four terms of CLIMB in two years will earn the Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business. |
